Making an Appointment
Please call 703-717-5667 to make an appointment in the Virginia location.
If we do not answer the phone, it is because we are serving patients. Please leave us a message informing us of: your name, phone number, and the clinic you are interested in. If possible, let us know which insurance you have and how soon you will need to be seen in the hand clinic. Please call again if you do not hear from us within your time frame.
IMPORTANT: Leaving a message does not guarantee an appointment. We must make verbal contact with you and confirm that you are scheduled for an appointment. Periodically, our clinics are full, as we offer one on one therapy, custom splint/orthotic fitting, and individual programs for exercises/activities for a variety of injuries.
When you come to the clinic, you must bring the following:
- Your prescription from your medical doctor (we cannot see you without a valid prescription - be sure the prescription is not more than 30 days old, has a valid MD signature, and written orders for occupational therapy.
- Some insurances require a primary care physician (PCP) referral. Call your insurance company and check if this is required. If required, you will need to contact your PCP, have the referral form signed by your PCP, and provide this to the front desk before you start therapy.
- Up-to-date insurance card(s)
- Photo ID, for example, a driver's license
As possible, we will try to fill out the preliminary insurance benefits form on the phone before you come to the clinic.
